It was a dark and stormy night..

...In a small town named Rexburg, in the North Eastern part of Idaho.
It had been a beautiful sunny day but towards evening dark and ominous clouds gathered on the horizon, the citizens hurried to shelter fearing the worst.
But after some rain and a bit of lightening the clouds moved on to terrorize other small towns in Idaho. Everyone cheered.

I really love your Old Glory shot and the last one of the lamp. I'm so jealous of you!! I want to take a photography class so badly . . . but first I have to get a camera (trying to save up for it but it feels like I will never have one!) . . . and then I have to find a class that isn't taught on campus since I'm not a student anymore and can't take one through the school. So, basically, I'm really jealous of you!!

all these shots are good. Keep it up and we will see great things of you. And by the way, I would be a willing student of yours. :-)

Whitney, I would really like the lantern printed out. I have a place in my house to hang it. Trade you for some pottery.
