So this was my lake for six weeks, the thermometer
kept saying the temp was 72 but it definitely was NOT! It was so dang cold but
once you got in and got use to it, it felt great. If you notice the two white
dots on either end of the lake those are the milk cartons we used to mark the
mile swim. You had to swim from one to the other and back, 9 times to earn the
mile swim! We had a couple of kids do it with Lucy the moose about 20 yards
away :) The lake at the deepest was about 7 feet and that was in the middle. Perfectly
clear water until the scouts jumped in and muddied it up. All in all, it was a
great time and I'll miss swimming in the near freezing water!
